Our ideal candidate is a leader; someone who has great news sense, online news experience, plus a creative vision for what it takes to produce a solid newscast.

This position requires someone who can wear multiple hats. Most of your time will be focused on adding content to our online products - ksfy.com, Facebook, Twitter and others as assigned. You will also produce be trained to produce our newscasts.

Candidates must have excellent writing skills and be able to handle extreme pressure situations and last-minute changes while guiding and directing news crews in the field. You should also be skilled in social media, online news production, and have a familiarity with video photography. Time management skills are a must.

Bachelor’s degree is required. At least one year of newsroom experience is preferred, but we will also train the right candidate.

The ideal candidate must be able to work odd and extended hours and days to complete assignments. Candidates must be able to handle extreme pressure situations and last-minute changes while. You should also be skilled in social media and online news production. Time management skills are a must.

Candidate must be able to carry a 30 to 40 pound camera and a 15 to 20 pound tripod. This person is expected to have a valid driver’s license as well as a safe driving record.

KSFY-TV, the local ABC affiliate in Sioux Falls, SD has an immediate opening for a Sales Account Executive. Applicant must be energetic, possess great communication skills, be very competitive, goal-oriented, and able to multi-task.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated self-starter who is willing to generate leads and develop new business with little supervision through utilizing creativity to market our products, which include television, internet and mobile platforms.

Our ideal candidate must be proficient in all aspects of television news editing including: videotaping news events, breaking news and feature stories, editing and adding video to the station’s website as directed.
